We're thrilled to announce a special collaboration with Victoria Paxton, a self-taught Australian ceramic artist based in Perth. Victoria's work resonates deeply with our own, as she too draws inspiration from the natural world. Her pieces, characterized by soft organic curves and a seamless dance of movement and clean lines, perfectly complement our handcrafted wooden creations.
Victoria's artistic process is meticulous and deliberate. She uses stoneware clay, allowing the material's natural colors to create a unique, earthy texture and raw personality. Each piece is crafted by hand using the coiling and slab building techniques, a process that requires minimal tools and allows for thoughtful shaping, texturizing, and balancing over a period of 4-6 weeks.
The connection with Victoria was immediate. We met at an event and instantly clicked. A year and a half later, we decided to combine our talents to create a unique, multi-functional design for Eternel, a stunning collaboration that celebrates the beauty of handcrafted artistry and the enduring power of nature's influence.
